
14-Year-Old Student Dies of Heart Attack During School Trip to Imagica
A school trip to Imagica Theme Park in Khopoli took a tragic turn when a 14-year-old student suffered a fatal heart attack on Tuesday. The incident came to light on Wednesday after the police shared details with the media, as per PTI reports.
The student, Ayush Dharmendra Singh, was in Class 8 at a school run by the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation in Ghansoli. According to police reports, Ayush started feeling unwell during the trip and sat on a bench to rest. Moments later, he collapsed on the ground.
Teachers and park staff immediately rushed him to the primary health centre inside the park. From there, he was referred to a private hospital, but doctors declared him dead on arrival.
A post-mortem examination was conducted in the presence of a government medical officer, which confirmed that the cause of death was a heart attack. The Khalapur police have registered the case as an accidental death and are investigating the matter further.
