Chandigarh, Oct 27 – Shiromani Akali Dal Leader Parambans Singh Bunty Romana Arrested for Spreading Misleading Video Targeting Punjab CM and Delhi CM
Mohali Cyber Cell arrested Shiromani Akali Dal Leader Parambans Singh Bunty Romana on Thursday for sharing a viral video that targeted Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. The police accused Bunty Romana of circulating a fabricated video, leading to the filing of an FIR and subsequent arrest.
SAD President Sukhbir Badal denounced Romana’s arrest as “political vendetta” and claimed that the charges were “trumped up.” Badal accused the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of attempting to stifle the opposition’s voice and divert attention from real issues in Punjab while concealing its own failures. He affirmed that SAD would not be intimidated by such “cowardly acts” and pledged full support to Parambans Romana, vowing to ensure justice in the case.
“The party extends wholehearted support to Parambans Romana and will ensure the Aam Aadmi Party’s anarchy fails and justice is done in the case,” Badal stated.
