Maharashtra's First Eco Glamping Festival Starts in Nashik
Get ready for an exciting outdoor luxury experience at Maharashtra’s first-ever eco glamping festival, which begins on January 18 in Nashik. This two-month-long festival is organized by the state tourism board and brings together the best of camping and luxury.
The festival is held at the beautiful Gangapur Dam backwaters in Nashik, where visitors can stay in 60 luxury tents. Each tent offers a unique and comfortable experience, and guests can enjoy exciting activities like parasailing, trekking, paintball, and archery. There will also be cultural experiences, such as stargazing, yoga by the water, and fine dining.
“We are thrilled to bring luxury glamping to Maharashtra,” said Madhumita Sardesai, Deputy Director of the State Tourism Department (Nashik). The festival is expected to attract visitors from all over Maharashtra and beyond.
As Nashik is known as the ‘Wine Capital of India’, guests can enjoy wine tasting at the wine experience center. The luxury tents are designed to offer a special and comfortable experience, similar to those at Rann Utsav. With high occupancy rates reported already in December, organizers are excited about the festival’s success.
