Patna, Dec 12 – Bihar Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar on Monday called upon the people to use indigenous products to make economy of the country strong and vibrant.
Arlekar, while addressing a workshop after Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched ” Viksit Bharat @ 2047″ through virtual mode, said that people should use indigenous products to boost economy of the country.


Emphasising on the need for using indigenous products, he said that he himself used only countrymade products.


The Governor said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had fixed the target to make India, a developed nation by the year 2047and it was time for all the people to do their best to achieve it. He called upon teachers to teach their students not only syllabus but also try to make them a responsible citizen.
Arlekar said that science and technology was a vital component which could give impetus to growth of economy. There was an urgent need for massive efforts in research and development for best use of science and technology, in larger interests of the society, he added.


The Governor said that farmers should be encouraged to use organic fertilizers to increase agro production. It would also help in increasing the income of farmers twice, he added.
