A Thailand-bound flight became an unusual scene when passengers began standing, chatting, and even eating mid-air, despite repeated requests from the cabin crew to remain seated. Instagram user Ankit captured the moment in a video, expressing his surprise at the behavior and calling it “like a train journey.” In the video, Ankit commented, “Indians like to get insulted everywhere. People are standing in the flight—not during landing or takeoff, but mid-air.”
The video, part of Ankit’s Thailand series, quickly gained attention, with nearly 1.6 million views, 27,000 likes, and 1,700 comments. Ankit mentioned that the cabin crew repeatedly asked passengers to sit down, but many ignored the requests, continuing to stand, chat, and eat while still in the air.
The behavior sparked mixed reactions online. Some criticized the passengers for their poor manners, with one comment saying, “Money doesn’t get you class!” Others pointed out that walking during long flights is encouraged for better circulation, but standing and eating in the seating area was inappropriate.
