West Bengal Minister of Women and Child Development Shashi Panja
Kolkata, Nov 29 – Reacting to Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s public rally here on Wednesday, West Bengal Minister of Women and Child Development Shashi Panja described it as “epitome of hypocrisy”.
Taking to X, Panja said, ” BJP blocked ₹6907 Cr under MGNREGA, denying Bengal’s poor labourers their rightful wages. “
” Now, its leader, HM @AmitShah is holding a rally in Kolkata to supposedly address the concerns of deprived workers. If this isn’t the epitome of HYPOCRISY, we don’t know what is, ” she opined.
Another Minister Tapas Roy asked, ‘ How does HM @AmitShah justify finding time to resolve his party infights and inaugurating Durga Puja Pandals but conveniently neglecting the deprived people of Bengal? “
” Is the misery of Bengal’s deprived poor persisting from past 2 years only concerning when election is approaching? ” he further asked.
” HM Amit Shah we demand answers, ” he stated.
