Tragic Drowning Incident Claims Lives of Two Brothers in Narangi River, Nashik

Nashik, Oct 31 — In a heartbreaking incident, two brothers, Swapnil Jadhav and Gourav Jadhav, lost their lives as they drowned in the Narangi River in the Undirwadi area of Yeola taluka on Monday.

On Monday, Anita Jadhav, along with her two sons, went to the Narangi River for washing clothes. Tragedy struck when the younger son slipped, falling into the river. Seeing his brother in distress, Gourav Jadhav, the elder sibling, immediately jumped into the river to rescue him. Unfortunately, both brothers lacked swimming skills, leading to their tragic drowning.

Anita Jadhav, witnessing the dire situation, also jumped into the river in a desperate attempt to save her sons. Nearby farmers, upon seeing the incident, threw a rope to rescue Anita Jadhav. Despite their efforts, the two brothers succumbed to the river’s waters, leaving the family in profound grief.
