Satara, Dec 4 – A young woman died on the spot after being run over by a truck on Satara-Kiregaon road near Sangam Mahuli here on Sunday.
The woman, Disha Uday Ghorpade (19), resident of Sadar Bazar in Satara city, who was a First-year student of Pharmacy, was returning home from her relatives house on a two-wheeler when her vehicle suddenly skidded after overtaking a truck.
As a result, she fell down on the road and was run over by the truck, which was coming from behind, police said.
