The Tree of 40 Fruits was created by Sam Van Aken, a professor from Syracuse University in the United States. He came up with the idea after visiting an agricultural fair in 2008. Sam used a technique called grafting to make this tree. Grafting means attaching a branch from one tree onto another. Over time, Sam carefully added branches from different fruit trees, and eventually, he grew a tree that produced 40 types of fruit.

The tree can grow fruits like cherries, plums, apricots, peaches, nectarines, blackberries, apples, guavas, and even bananas.

These trees are rare and cost about ₹19 lakh each. All 16 of these trees are found in seven states in New York.

This tree is a great example of how science and creativity can come together to create something truly amazing. The Tree of 40 Fruits continues to amaze people around the world.
