Mumbai, December 17, 2024 – Škoda Auto India has announced a price hike of up to 3% across its range of vehicles, starting January 1, 2025. This increase will apply to popular models like the Kushaq, Slavia, Superb, and Kodiaq. However, the newly launched Kylaq will remain at its current price until it reaches 33,333 bookings, giving buyers more time to purchase the SUV at its introductory price.

The price hike is due to rising input and operational costs. Škoda explained that the adjustment is necessary to maintain the quality and premium features of its vehicles.

The Kylaq, a key part of Škoda’s growth strategy in India, is a sub-4-metre SUV designed for Indian customers. It features Škoda’s modern design, strong safety systems, and excellent driving performance. The Kylaq aims to attract more buyers and help Škoda achieve its goal of 1 lakh total sales in India by 2026.

In recent years, Škoda has seen significant success, selling 100,000 cars in just two years, the fastest it has ever achieved this in India. The company has also expanded to 260 customer touchpoints in over 150 cities, showing its focus on reaching more customers and improving their experience.
