Mumbai, Oct 27 : The BSE Sensex on Friday recovered 474 pts at 63,622.49 in opening session as buying was seen across the board.
The National Stock Exchange (NSE) rose 141.05 pts at 18,998.30.
The Mid Cap was gained 1.85 pc and 1.65 pc.
In 30 scrips, 25 advanced while 5 declined.
The gainers were SBI by 1.98 pc to Rs 558, Reliance Industries by 1.89 pc to Rs 2268.35, Infosys by 1.55 pc to be 1378.85, NTPC by 1.51 pc to Rs 235.30 and HCL Technologies by 1.26 pc to Rs 1247.
The losers were Bajaj Finserv by 0.36 pc to Rs 1553.35,ITC by 0.26 pc to Rs 432.95, Hind Unilever by 0.24 pc to by 247.90 and Ultracemco by 0.24 pc to Rs 2470.
