Riteish Deshmukh’s Powerful Look Unveiled in Raid 2 – Film Releases on May 1, 2025
The makers of Raid 2 have released the first-look poster of Riteish Deshmukh, showing him in a bold political avatar. Sharing his intense look on social media, Riteish wrote:
“Kanoon ka mohtaj nahi, kanoon ka malik hai Dada Bhai! #Raid2 knocking in cinemas near you from 1st May.”

In the poster, Riteish stands confidently among a crowd with his hand raised, exuding power and authority. Dressed in a kurta and jacket, he truly looks like a strong political leader.
A day before, the makers had also revealed Ajay Devgn’s first look as IRS officer Amay Patnaik. Sharing his poster, Ajay wrote:
“Naya Shehar. Nayi File. Aur Amay Patnaik Ki Ek Nayi Raid. #Raid2 knocking at your doors in cinemas near you on 1st May, 2025.”
What is Raid 2 About?
Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, Raid 2 stars Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, and Vaani Kapoor. The film is the sequel to the 2018 hit Raid, which was based on real-life income tax raids. Just like the first part, the sequel follows Amay Patnaik’s journey as he investigates high-profile financial crimes in a new city.
The original film, Raid, starred Ajay Devgn, Ileana D’Cruz, and Saurabh Shukla, and was well received by audiences.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar, Raid 2 is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series in association with Panorama Studios. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on May 1, 2025.
