Nizamabad, Oct 21 – Former AICC President Rahul Gandhi, on the third day of the Congress Vijayabheri Yatra in Nizamabad district, made a serious allegation, claiming that KCR’s family is embezzling the money of the people of Telangana.
Addressing the gathering, Rahul asserted, “These elections are a choice between the aristocratic Telangana and the people’s Telangana.”
He accused KCR’s family of exploiting Telangana’s resources, whether it’s sand, land, or mining. Rahul emphasized that he was not there to make empty promises but to assure the fulfillment of Congress party’s commitments.
Citing successful implementation of promises in states like Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Karnataka as examples, Rahul pledged to deliver on the six guarantees provided by the Congress party once they assume power in Telangana.
He elaborated on the promises, including the Mahalakshmi scheme for monthly financial support to women, free RTC bus travel for women, affordable gas cylinders, financial aid to farmers, and free electricity up to 200 units per household.
Highlighting his enduring connection with the people of Telangana, Rahul described it as a familial bond that has persisted since the days of Nehru and Indira Gandhi.
He also shared his experiences fighting against the BJP in various states and the challenges he has faced due to his political stance, underlining his unwavering commitment to the Indian population.
