Mumbai, Oct 17: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on Thursday inaugurate the Pramod Mahajan Rural Skill Development Centres in Maharashtra, created with an aim to provide employment opportunities for youth of the state and promote development of rural areas.
Since Modi has given priority to employment opportunities and self-reliance of the youth in rural areas, it is a matter of pride that this innovative concept of Maharashtra will be inaugurated by the Prime Minister on Thursday, said Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Monday.
Accordingly, 511 Pramod Mahajan Rural Skill Development Centres in the state will be inaugurated online by PM Modi on Thursday, he informed.
Along with skill development, industry, Revenue, rural development, women & child development departments should participate in this programme, he added.
