Bhubaneswar, Nov 01 – The Odisha government, through the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA), has approved 12 transformative projects with a total investment of Rs 2,794.47 crores. The projects, spanning semiconductor and ESDM, Aluminium, Steel, metallurgical industries, Gemstone, Food, Beverage, Allied sectors, Tourism, and Fertilizer sectors, will contribute to the state’s economic growth.

In the semiconductor and ESDM sector, RIR Power Electronics Ltd is set to invest Rs 510.80 crores in Khordha’s Info Valley for establishing a manufacturing facility for silicon carbide devices and SIC modules. Nuvo Aeon Diamond and Jewellery Manufacturing LLP will invest Rs 256.50 crores in Khordha for a lab-grown diamond and jewellery manufacturing facility.

The steel sector will witness collective investments of Rs 900 crores by Four Star Metaliks Pvt Ltd, Khedira Ispat Ltd, New Laxmi Steel & Power Pvt Ltd, and Abhirav Industries Pvt Ltd in Jajpur and Sundargarh. Utkal Phosphates Pvt Ltd will invest Rs 62.07 crores in Jagatsinghpur for a Single Super Phosphate (SSP) and Granulated Single Super Phosphate (GSSP) fertilizer unit.

Hindalco Industries Ltd plans to invest Rs 834.00 crores in Sambalpur for an Aluminum Battery Foil manufacturing facility in the aluminium downstream sector. Narayani Green Pack will invest Rs 50.84 crores in Khordha for a corrugated paper and paper board containers manufacturing facility for Nestle.

In the Food, Beverage, and Allied sector, M/s Maa Tarini Roller Flour Mills LLP and Milk Mantra Dairy Pvt Ltd are set to invest Rs 58.30 crores and Rs 51.10 crores, respectively, in Khordha and Puri. Mayfair Hotels and Resorts Ltd will invest Rs 73 crores in Jharsuguda, contributing to the growth and development of the region.
