Dhule, Nov 3: The National Lok Adalat will be organised in the district on December nine, as per the direction of the Maharashtra State Legal Services Authority, Mumbai, informed District Legal Services Authority,secretary and Judge Sandeep Swamy on Thursday.
Accordingly, all types of civil, criminal, motor accident claims, domestic violence, negotiable document cases, minor civil cases, pending cases related to land acquisition will be kept in the National Lok Adalat.
Whereas, in pre-filing cases, all kinds of compromising cases, viz., cases of outstanding recovery of bank loans, water bills, telephone payments, electricity bills, etc., will be kept.
Till now, more than 6,000 civil and criminal pending cases and more than 50,000 pre-litigation cases have been placed in the National People’s Court, he added.
