Mumbai, Oct 4 : Nana Patole, the president of Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC), has called upon the state Governor, Ramesh Bais, to intervene and find solutions to the challenges encountered by candidates participating in state competitive examinations. A delegation comprising Congress party leaders and representatives of the candidates, led by Patole, presented a memorandum to Governor Bais at the Raj Bhavan, outlining the various issues faced by candidates, particularly in competitive exams and contractual job recruitment.

The memorandum highlighted that a staggering 32 lakh candidates are currently preparing for competitive exams in the state. It expressed concern over the recruitment processes conducted by various state government departments and the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC), which have become controversial and are deemed unfair to candidates.

Despite continuous efforts to bring attention to this matter, the state government has allegedly failed to implement any reforms, according to the memorandum. In light of these challenges, the delegation urged the Governor to step in and facilitate resolutions for the problems faced by the candidates involved in competitive exams.

This move by Nana Patole and the Congress party underscores the pressing need for addressing systemic issues in the examination and recruitment processes, emphasizing the importance of a fair and transparent system for the benefit of aspiring candidates.
