Missing 18-Year-Old Girl from Maharashtra Found in Goa, Reunited with Family
An 18-year-old girl from Manewadi, Satara district, Maharashtra, who went missing on Friday, has been found in Goa and reunited with her family, police said on Saturday.
The girl was discovered traveling on a train to Kerala and was intercepted at Margao station in South Goa after a joint effort by the Goa and Maharashtra police.
“After receiving the missing person complaint, we used technical surveillance to trace her movements,” a police officer explained. She was reportedly traveling with someone when located.
The girl was taken into custody and handed over to Satara police, who brought her back to her family. Authorities are now investigating the reasons behind her disappearance.
