Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Dec 11 – Maharashtra Minority Development Minister Abdul Sattar announced on Saturday that interest-free loans ranging from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 20 lakh for business and education and up to Rs 10 lakh for construction of a house will be given by his ministry.
Speaking at inauguration function of two-day workshop organised in Sillod of the district on behalf of the Maulana Azad Minority Economic Development Corporation Limited of the Minority Department, he said.
He talked about the government’s positive role in bringing out the members of the minority community into the mainstream of development and to solve their problems and difficulties.
Speaking further, Sattar said that the 15-point programme is an important step for the government, he alleged. The government had allocated a fund of Rs 500 crore for the department, he added. The workshop received an unprecedented response from the community members.
