Visitors to Ranthambore National Park were thrilled by an unforgettable sighting of Ganesh, the majestic tiger also known as T-120, during a morning safari earlier this week.
A video of the incredible encounter was shared on Ranthambore National Park’s Instagram, delighting wildlife enthusiasts everywhere. The caption read: “An incredible morning safari in Ranthambore National Park today! Spotted the majestic Ganesh aka T-120 in all his glory. What an experience.”
Located in the Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan, Ranthambore National Park is a well-known destination for wildlife and nature lovers. The park is divided into 10 zones, each home to different tiger families and offering unique experiences for visitors.
Ganesh’s graceful movements through his natural habitat left the safari group in awe, creating a truly magical moment.
Efforts to protect tigers in Ranthambore have seen great success over the years. In 2005, the park had just 25 tigers, but conservation initiatives have helped the population grow to about 80 today, including 25 adult males, 31 females, and 24 cubs.
Tourism has played a key role in supporting the reserve and raising awareness about tiger conservation. Ranthambore has become a must-visit destination for those passionate about wildlife and the beauty of nature.
