John Abraham Teases Mahindra Thar Roxx Black Edition – Launch Expected Soon!
Mahindra & Mahindra has introduced the Scorpio N Carbon Edition in India and is preparing to launch the XUV700 Ebony Edition. Following these, the company is also expected to bring a Black Edition of the Thar Roxx to the market.
John Abraham Hints at Thar Roxx Black Edition
Mahindra’s Chief Design and Creative Officer recently shared a teaser on social media, featuring Bollywood actor John Abraham. In the video, John reveals his love for black cars, saying his entire garage is filled with them. The caption suggests that a special black version of the Thar Roxx is on its way.
What to Expect from the Black Edition?
The all-black Thar Roxx may come with a special name, similar to Carbon Edition or Ebony Edition, like the Scorpio N and XUV700. It will likely feature:
- Black alloy wheels
- Black interior finishes
- Premium design elements
This version will be based on the top-end trims of the SUV. Currently, the Thar Roxx is available in six trims: MX1, MX3, AX3L, MX5, AX5L, and AX7L. These models come with:
- 10.25-inch touchscreen
- LED projector headlights
- Digital instrument panel
- Push-button start
- Rear AC vents
- 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels
- Panoramic sunroof
For safety, it includes six airbags, a 360-degree camera, ADAS Level 2 features, and rear disc brakes.
No Mechanical Changes Expected
The Black Edition Thar Roxx will mostly have cosmetic upgrades, while the engine options will remain the same:
- 2.0-litre mStallion turbo petrol engine
- 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine
- Manual and automatic transmission options
- Diesel variant available with 4×4 drive
The official launch is expected soon, and Mahindra fans can look forward to a stylish all-black Thar Roxx hitting the roads soon.
