Mumbai, Nov 11: The reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa is returning to Sony Entertainment Television channel for its upcoming Season starting November 11.
A transformation that fans look forward to, the ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ show will see much loved actors and stars shed their inhibitions and don their dancing shoes in a bid to impress the nation starting November 11 at 9:30 pm.
This season will witness a dazzling judging panel, aptly named as ‘FAM’, with Farah Khan, Arshad Warsi, and Malaika Arora coming together to share their passion for dance and mentor the stars.
A sensational line up of celebrities from diverse walks of life will shine bright in ‘Yeh Diwali Jhalak Waali’, promising some mesmerizing performances and unforgettable moments!

But it was actor Tanishaa Mukerji who stunned one and all with her electrifying performance to ‘Laila Main Laila’ with her choreographer-partner, Tarun Nihalani.
In awe of Tanisha’s efforts, Judge Farah Khan said, “I have been following Tanishaa, and I have seen her career graph. She is not a dancer. I believe when you find the right choreographer, you can dance well. Tanisha, you haven’t found the right person who will recognize your strengths, hide your weaknesses, and present you in the best light. I think, Tarun, you were that person, and it was an energetic performance. Tarun, you used Tanishaa’s strengths very well. Also, performing lifts is very difficult for both boys and girls, lifting body weight and focusing on the core is not easy. “
“I counted your steps, and you didn’t forget anything. And truly, we felt like we were watching a star’s performance at an award function. It gave us that feeling. Let me tell you, Tanishaa, it takes guts to come here with your family legacy and start like a newcomer. All the best for the coming weeks. If this is how you’re starting, then this show is going to be a super hit. Well done, Tanishaa.” Farah said.

Tanishaa Mukerji, who admires Farah Khan and has seen her choreograph her sisters, was moved by Farah’s praise and said, “Farah ma’am, I have seen you choreographing Kajol and Rani, and when I found out that I was going to be on ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ as one of the judges, I was so scared. I knew Farah would speak the truth and definitely criticize me without being biased. Farah, you know me, I’m a non-dancer. Kajol learned a bit of Kathak in her childhood, but I’ve never taken any dance lessons. What I’ve done in movies is just a shot-by-shot performance, not a continuous 2:30-minute performance.”
“When the team told me that it was going to be one take, and I had to complete a 2:30-minute performance, I was scared about how to do it without making mistakes. But when I saw the others, each one was fabulous. I was sitting and thinking that no one was making a mistake or forgetting their steps,” she said.
“During all my rehearsals, I used to forget one step or another, and I felt like ‘Ghajini’. On this show, I know, as you said, there are stars, and let’s be honest, I’m not a star. I haven’t reached that level of celebrity. When you said I was performing like a star, tears welled up in my eyes. I just want to say it’s a very big thing when you have family and friends who are stars. It’s not easy. Thank you for this; I feel like a star today,” Tanishaa added.

Tanishaa will further capture this special moment in her memory by performing on Deewangi Deewangi with the judges and co-contestants.
