New Delhi, Oct 16: Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind (JUH) President, Maulana Arshad Madani, issued a statement on Sunday strongly condemning the Israeli aggression on Gaza. Madani emphasized that JUH has been a steadfast supporter of every struggle for the protection of Jerusalem, Palestine, and Gaza from the beginning, and it continues to stand with Palestine.

In his statement, Madani criticized Israel as an usurper country that, with the support of some world powers, has taken over the land of Palestine and is now attempting to eliminate the existence of the Palestinian people from this land.

Expressing condemnation for the Israeli army’s aggression on Gaza, Madani described it as part of Israel’s permanent terror plans. He commended the Palestinians for showing extreme courage and bravery in launching a counterattack against Israel.

Madani stated, “JUH considers the attacks on Gaza as a serious attack on human rights and strongly condemns it.” He expressed disappointment in the silence of countries claiming to be leaders of global peace and unity and international organizations that pretend to advocate for human rights.

Calling for immediate intervention to stop the ongoing tragic war in Gaza, Madani appealed to world leaders, the United Nations Security Council, the Muslim World League, and other influential international organizations to take positive and effective measures to establish peace in the region.

He warned that if prompt action is not taken, the scope of the war may escalate, potentially engulfing the entire world. Madani expressed deep regret over the failure of the recent United Nations Security Council meeting due to indifference among a few major powers.
