Jammu: Democratic Progressive Azad Party Chairman, Ghulam Nabi Azad, declared his commitment to revive the Roshni Act Scheme, stating its significant benefits to thousands of underprivileged individuals in Jammu and Kashmir. Addressing various delegations, including the ST community, Azad assured that his party, if elected, would actively address the grievances of the people across the Union Territory.
During the discussions, Azad expressed his comprehensive understanding of the issues faced by Jammu and Kashmir, emphasizing that his party would engage with every corner of the UT to address ground-level challenges. He urged party office bearers in Jammu to intensify activities and encourage more people to join the movement for positive change in the region.
