Jalgaon, Nov 06: Senior NCP (Sharad Pawar group) leader and former Maharashtra minister Eknath Khadse suffered a heart attack on Sunday afternoon. He was initially admitted to a hospital in Jalgaon but later decided to be shifted to Mumbai for further treatment.

There are reports that Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde promptly directed the immediate arrangement of an air ambulance for MLA Khadse’s treatment.

Rohini Khadse, the daughter of the senior NCP leader, contacted the Chief Minister as her father’s health deteriorated. In response, the Chief Minister swiftly organized an air ambulance, and Khadse was flown to Mumbai for treatment.

He is currently under the care of doctors at a Mumbai hospital, where his condition is being closely monitored. Further updates on his health are awaited.
