Instead of focusing on the road, the driver was holding his phone in one hand, playing the game, while barely steering with the other.

The 10-second video quickly spread on social media after being shared on Reddit’s ‘CarsIndia’ community. Viewers were outraged, calling the act reckless and dangerous. Many demanded strict action against the driver, with some suggesting his driving license should be suspended. One user commented, “I would walk out of the cab instantly. Not worth it.” Another asked, “How can someone even play a game while driving?”
Some users suggested politely asking the driver to pull over and ending the ride. Others expressed concern over how such behavior puts passengers and other road users at risk.
The issue is even more alarming given PUBG’s history in India. The game, along with its local version BGMI, was banned due to security concerns in 2020 and 2022. Though BGMI later returned in 2023, incidents like this raise fresh concerns about gaming addiction and its impact on public safety.
