British-Era Railway Overbridge Collapses in Nashik, Disrupting Indore-Pune Highway Traffic; No Casualties Reported

Nashik, Nov 30 – A part of the British-era railway overbridge on the Indore-Pune highway near Manmad in Nashik district collapsed on Wednesday morning.
Due to this, the traffic on the Indore-Pune highway has been closed. Fortunately, there was no loss of life.

”Between 5:00 am and 5:30 am today, a portion of the bridge collapsed along with the guardrail. Fortunately, there was no vehicle on the bridge at that time, and a major accident was avoided,” sources said.

Meanwhile, Pune-bound traffic on the route has been diverted from Yewla. While the traffic coming from Indore has been diverted from Malegaon.
There is a picture of a traffic jam on the Lasalgaon-Vinchur road due to the diversion of traffic from the Vinchur Prakash highway. Traffic is moving slowly on both sides of this highway.
Lasalgaon Police has increased the number of policemen in Lasalgaon and Vinchoor to facilitate traffic. Due to the increased traffic of heavy vehicles on this road, the traffic is obstructed.
