Bengaluru, Oct 26: A delegation of the BJP led by former Karnataka minister S Suresh Kumar demanded disqualification of Urban Development Minister Byrathi Suresh for involvement of his aides in the creation of fake Aadhar, Voter ID, PAN cards and driving licences.

A complaint was lodged by the BJP delegation with the Election Commission seeking disqualification of Suresh and registering a case of criminal breach against him and his associates.
The BJP leaders also demanded the scam to be handed over to the National Investigation Agency and Central Bureau of India to ensure that the culprits do not go scot free.

They stated that an FIR was lodged against Mounesh Bhagat, Raghavendra for allegedly making fake Aadhar, PAN, Voter ID cards and driving licenses at their business centre named MSL Techno Solutions at RT Nagar in the city.
The BJP alleged that this scam has been inflamed by local politicians and Hebbal MLA belonging to the Congress party. It also alleged that political patronage was being provided to illegal immigrants by issuing Aadhar and other cards.

Such persons should be punished for providing political protection to illegal immigrants and treated as a threat to national security.
In their lust for power, they are making fake cards and issuing them to illegal immigrants, creating a minority vote bank resulting in national security issues, the BJP alleged.

This case should be treated as a crime against national sovereignty, integrity and security of India, the party said.
All offenders deserve to go to jail, including the MLA who has breached his oath and trust of his office, BJP said.
