Ratnagiri, Oct 5: The Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) of Ratnagiri on Thursday detained three Bangladeshi nationals, who were staying illegally at Kherdi village in Chiplun tehsil of Ratnagiri district for past many months.
Acting on a reliable information, a Ratnagiri ATS team detained three people with the help of local police from Shinganwadi area in Kherdi village and seized some documents from their residentce, police said.
They were identified as Gullu Husen Mulla (56), Jilani Gullu Mulla (26) and Jony Gullu Mulla (29), all from Bangladesh.
Among the seized documents were their identity cards, Aadhar cards, Pancard and Election cards.
The trio have been detained under sections 3(A), 6 of Passports Act and section 3(1)(A) of the Foreigners Act, sources added.
