New Delhi, Oct 28: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Delhi unit on Friday slammed Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for not taking pollution as a “serious” issue.

At a press briefing held here, BJP Delhi unit president Virendra Sachdeva alleged, “The increasing pollution in the National Capital is not just a problem of two months but of the entire year, but Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his Ministers have never taken it seriously.”

Showing the report of NASA and the satellite picture taken by it, Sachdeva claimed that on October 26, a total of 1113 stubble burning cases were reported, out of which 589 stubble burning cases were registered in Punjab.

Taking a dig at AAP-led government, Sachdeva said that AAP is a government only of declarations and they lie very comfortably. “The closed Smog Tower stands in Connaught Place, a gift of AAP’s corruption,” he alleged.
