New Delhi – Food and grocery delivery company Zomato is changing its name to Eternal after getting approval from its board. This decision comes over two years after the name was first used internally. Along with the name change, the company will introduce a new logo and corporate identity.

Deepinder Goyal, Founder and CEO of Zomato, confirmed the news in a letter to shareholders. He urged investors to support the transition, stating, “Our board has approved this change today, and I request our shareholders to also support this change. If approved, our website will move from zomato.com to eternal.com.” The company’s stock ticker will also change from ZOMATO to ETERNAL once the process is complete.

Under the new name, Eternal will include four key businesses:

  • Zomato (food delivery)
  • Blinkit (quick commerce)
  • Hyperpure (restaurant supplies)
  • District (a new business segment)

This rebranding is part of Zomato’s strategy to grow beyond food delivery and become a bigger player in India’s digital commerce market. The final approval now depends on shareholders and regulators.
