Nadaun (HP), Nov 4: Uttarakhand women dominated in the women’s marathon event on the first day of the Asian marathon Rafting Championship at Nadaun on Friday.
The championship started in the morning hours and will end on Monday.
It was flagged off by HP Tourism development corporation chairman, RS Bail.
Uttarakhand-A team secured the first position. The winning team completed the marathon route in 1:30 hours.
Karnataka team got second position and Uttarakhand-B got third position, as per the list released by the organizers.
There was a very interesting competition between the first three placed teams. There was a gap of only one minute in their timing.
