UPSC CSE 2024 Results Declared: Shakti Dubey Tops the Exam

New Delhi – The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially announced the final results of the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2024. Shakti Dubey has secured the prestigious All India Rank 1, followed by Harshita Goyal at Rank 2 and Dongre Archit Parag at Rank 3.

This year, the recruitment process aims to fill 1,132 vacancies across various government services. These include 180 posts in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), 55 in the Indian Foreign Service (IFS), 147 in the Indian Police Service (IPS), 605 positions in Central Services Group ‘A’, and 142 posts in Group ‘B’ services.

The UPSC conducted the Personality Test (interview round) for 2,845 candidates who qualified in the Mains exam. The interviews were held from January 7 to April 17, 2025, in two daily shifts at 9 AM and 1 PM.

The application window for the Civil Services Examination 2024 was open between February 14 and March 5. The UPSC has confirmed that detailed marks of the qualified candidates will be published on its official website — upsc.gov.in — within 15 days of the result announcement.

As one of India’s most competitive and respected examinations, the CSE opens doors to elite roles in the Indian bureaucracy, including the IAS, IPS, and IFS.
