Kolhapur, (Maharashtra) Oct 28: A Forest guard was killed after being attacked by an elephant at Ghatkarwadi forest in Ajara tehsil of the district on Saturday.
A team of Forest guards was engaged in an operation to drive away the elephant this afternoon but he hid in a bush and suddenly attacked Prakash, killing him on the spot, sources in Forest department said.
