Nashik, Oct 25: Ten people were injured when a bus carrying them dashed against a truck and a jeep parked on the roadside at New Kasara ghat on Mumbai–Agra highway near Igatpuri in this district on Tuesday.
According to police, a private luxury bus from Yevtmal was going for Dasara Melava of Shinde Faction Shiv Sena to be held in Mumbai last evening.
The bus brakes failed and it dashed against the truck and jeep.
Ten people in the bus were injured in the accident and they were admitted to the hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, the employees of Highway Police Station Ghoti, Route Patrolling, Disaster Management Team immediately reached the spot.
