Nirmal (Telangana), Nov 4: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) on Friday stressed on the importance of making wise choices in election as the consequences of voting are felt for five years.

He urged the electorate to select the right party to ensure a better future during an election campaign event held in Mudhole in this district.

KCR, who played a pivotal role in the formation of Telangana, reminded voters of their responsibility in choosing a leader.

He stated that voters should not only evaluate the qualities of individual candidates but also consider the track record and history of the political parties they represent. They should also ponder the parties’ stance on issues that concern farmers and the overall well-being of the state.

The Chief Minister urged people to discuss his message in their villages, emphasising the significance of the party’s attitude, perspective, and behavior in the context of the election. He emphasized that a responsible government is crucial for the state’s well-being and warned against potential damage if the wrong party is elected.

KCR also recalled the political history of Telangana, mentioning that the Congress party had ruled for 50 years, followed by the TDP, and then the BRS party for the past decade.

He urged voters to assess the actions and performance of these parties and make informed decisions.

Regarding the Congress party’s criticisms of initiatives like Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bima, KCR defended his government’s track record, asserting that Telangana provides 24 hours of reliable electricity to homes, businesses, industries, IT, and agriculture.

He highlighted the region’s economic progress and expressed pride in the state’s achievements in a relatively short period.

He compared the state’s performance to neighboring Maharashtra and emphasised the importance of effective administration.

KCR also spoke about the transformation brought about by the Dharani portal, streamlining processes like land registration. He warned against the potential return of a system marked by bribery and corruption if the portal were to be removed.

He cited examples of transparent financial transactions for programs like Rythu Bandhu and the purchase of crops, which have eliminated the need for bribery.

The Chief Minister urged voters to contemplate the consequences of their choices and whether they want to return to a system marked by corruption or continue on the path of progress.

He exhorted voters to think carefully before casting their ballots.
