Telangana Cabinet Meeting Scheduled for December 4 After Assembly Election Results

Hyderabad, Dec 2 – Telangana state cabinet will meet at Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Telangana secretariat here on December 4, a day after counting of votes polled on November 30.

The meeting to be chaired by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) will be held at 2 PM on Monday, a release from the Chief Minister’s Office said here on Friday.

The counting of votes polled on November 30 for 119 assembly seats in Telangana to decide the fortunes of 2290 candidates will be taken up on December 3 along with four other states – Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Mizoram and Rajasthan – where the assembly elections were held during the past few weeks.

According to most of the exit polls, predicting that congress may secure more seats in forming the next government. However, surveys are also hinting at the possibility of a hung assembly in the state.
