Tata Group applies to establish Rs 40,000 crore semiconductor plant in Assam

Guwahati, Dec 9 – Tata Group has applied to establish a semiconductor processing plant in Assam with an investment of Rs 40,000 crore, Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said on Friday here.
“This will be a game changer. My gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji for his continuous guidance in transforming our State”, Sarma said on X (Formally Twitter).
