Nashik, Oct 30: The Igatpuri Police on Sunday arrested two men who were wanted for allegedly stealing a machine part, worth Rs one crore, used for Indian Railways tunnel work, from Rajoli in Nawada district of Bihar.
In this regard, a case under section 379 of Indian Penal Code was filed at the Nawada Police Station on October 21.
Acting on a reliable information that suspects allegedly involved in crime are in Igatpuri area of Nashik district, a team of Rajoli Police arrived at Igatpuri to apprehend the suspects.
Following which, Igatpuri Police conducted a thorough search and arrested Nipura Manoranjan Rai (30) and Nayan Naresh Rai (23) for their alleged involvement in the crime.
The duo was handed over to the Bihar Police team.
During questioning, the suspects admitted that the stolen part worth Rs one crore was sent to Siliguri in West Bengal.
Acting on this information, another team of Bihar Police has been dispatched to West Bengal to recover the stolen good.
