Srinagar, Dec 5 – Administration has expressed grief over the death of six Kashmiri workers in a road accident in Shimla on Monday and are in touch with Shimla administration to bring bodies to their native villages for last rites.


Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat expressed grief over deaths of six Kulgam residents in a road accident at Shimla and the the district administration is in touch with Shimla Administration for transportation of bodies of all the deceased to their native villages.
Six workers from Kulgam district died, and as many were injured in a road accident in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh on Monday morning around 7am when a vehicle, they were travelling in, fell into a gorge in Sunny Kangal Kararghat.


The deceased have been identified as Fareed Ahmad Deedar, (24), Gulam Hussain Gorsi (43), Shabir Ahmad Deedar, (19), Talib Hussain Tinda (23), Gulzar Ahmad Deedar (30), and Mushtaq Ahmad Dedar (30)—all residents of Kulgam District.


The injured persons were identified as Manzoor Ahmed (20), Talib Hussain (23) both from Kulgam; Aslam Deeded (24) from Anantnag and other injured are currently under treatment at the Indira Gandhi Medical College Hospital (IGMCH), officials said.
