Amritsar, Nov 21: Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) on Monday passed a special resolution, with the Executive Committee strongly condemning the “hate propaganda” against Sikhs and Sikh organisations on social media.
According to SGPC President Harjinder Singh Dhami, through this resolution it has been decided to take legal action against X (Twitter) in connection with the fake account created in the name of SGPC to spread hatred.
He said the image of SGPC is being tarnished through this fake account and despite the complaint, social media platform X has not closed the account but has justified it as per its policy. Now legal action will be taken against this fake account and X (Twitter).
