Mumbai, Oct 3: The BSE Sensex on Tuesday dropped 206.14 points at 65,622.27 in the opening session, as almost all indices were in green.
The NSE lost 98.25 points at 19,540.05. Almost all indices were opened in red. The losers were Powergrid by 1.35 pc to Rs 197.15, Reliance Industries by 1.13 pc to Rs 2320, JSW Steel by 1.05 pc to Rs 771.05, Titan by 0.89 pc to Rs 3121.50, and Kotak Bank by 0.81 pc to Rs 1721.60.
The gainers were M&M by 1.19 pc to Rs 1574.05, Asian Paints by 0.61 pc to Rs 3180.75, Ultracemco by 0.39 pc to Rs 8290.10, and Hind Unilever by 0.28 pc to Rs 2472.65.
In 30 scrips, 5 advanced while 25 declined.
The Asian market was also seen as weak.
