Nalgonda (Telangana), Nov 11– In a significant development ahead of the upcoming Telangana assembly elections on November 30, senior Congress leader Palvai Sravanti resigned from the party. In a four-page letter addressed to the Congress leadership, Ms. Sravanthi announced her decision to join BRS. Previously a Congress candidate in the last Munugode by-election, she secured the third position. The Congress has now given the ticket to Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy, who recently joined the party from BJP.
