Hyderabad, Dec 7 – SBI Gachibowli Branch under their CSR activity handed over 2 Golf Cart battery Vehicles to Botanical Garden managing by the Telangana State Forest Development Corporation (TSFDC) here on Wednesday.
The battery vehicles will be utilised for the Schools, Colleges and Visitors of Botanical Garden.
The vehicles were handed over to TSFDC VC & MD Dr. G. Chandrashekar Reddy at Botanical Gardens by SBI Deputy General Manager Kumar Rohith and Regional Manager Rajan Kumar.
Speaking on this occasion, Rohith said that “2 years ago I visited Botanical Gardens but now it has been turned-up to a Botanical Paradise with tremendous changes and amenities to the walkers and visitors and appreciated TSFDC MD and staff for their efforts in improving its diversity”.
Dr.Chandrashekar Reddy said that “every day many schools and colleges visit Botanical Gardens for the study on plants in this connection we have enriched its diversity with 1500 new species of plants and also procuring more 500 this month and we also constructed new poly houses where we procured and placed new variety of plants in it like Orchids, Insectivorous and Ferns too., many water fountains, Lotus ponds, Rasi Vanam, Nakshatra Vanam, Navagraha Vanam, Butterfly garden, Pencil & Eraser Garden Paper Tree Garden, Musical Tree Garden and many has been developed in the Botanical Garden for the purpose of Edutainment to many Schools, Colleges and Visitors too.
He also thanked SBI and team for their support as part of the development of Botanical gardens.
