Sangli, Dec 18 – In Sangli on Dec. 17th, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat emphasized the enduring significance of freedom fighter Lokmanya Tilak’s principles. Bhagwat underscored Tilak’s unwavering commitment to prioritizing the nation’s welfare over personal interests, highlighting that these timeless ideals continue to resonate today.
Speaking at the centenary year celebration of Tilak Memorial Mandir, Bhagwat reiterated that Lokmanya Tilak’s thoughts, rooted in the country’s well-being, served as not just a source of inspiration in the past but remain relevant in the present. He drew a parallel between Tilak’s ideals and the founding principles of RSS, noting that Dr. Hegdewar found resonance in Tilak’s philosophy when establishing the organization.
