Hyderabad, Nov 22: AICC Official Spokesperson Randeep Surjewala on Wednesday criticised the rising cases of youth suicides in Telangana, attributing them to the perceived failure of the BRS Government in conducting TSPSC exams.
Speaking to media here, Randeep expressed his discontent, suggesting that the suicides were linked to the alleged shortcomings in the governance of the BRS Government.
He specifically pointed out the Kalvakuntal family as a contributing factor to these unfortunate incidents. Randeep asserted his confidence that the youth would deliver a strong message to the BRS government in the upcoming assembly elections scheduled for November 30.
Highlighting the Congress party’s promises, Randeep stated that upon assuming power, the Congress government would provide Vidya Bharosa Cards worth Rs one lakh to every student, aimed at covering college fees and coaching expenses. These cards could also be used for purchasing computers.
Randeep assured that, if elected, the Congress government would fill two lakh government jobs within the first year of its tenure. This decision, he mentioned, would be taken in the inaugural cabinet meeting. Additionally, the Congress government plans to implement Mega DSC (District Selection Committee) in the initial cabinet meeting, ensuring fair and transparent appointments. Strict actions will be taken against any violations of the rules. Randeep also outlined schemes to facilitate employment for rural youth.
