Hyderabad, Nov 28 – Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday assured to provide insurance and set up a welfare board for Gig workers if the party government come to power in the November 30 Assembly election in Telangana.
The former AICC President, while interacting with Gig workers, GHMC workers and Auto drivers at Gachibowli near here, promised to regularise the jobs and giving salary increments on time for GHMC sanitation workers.
He also assured a 50 per cent discount on pending challans for Auto drivers.
