Hyderabad, Nov 3: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a Backward Class Garjana meeting in Hyderabad on November 7.
The meeting was being organised to create confidence among the BCs as we have already declared that the party would make a BC leader the Chief Minister if it comes to power in the November 30 elections in Telangana, said BJP Rajya Sabha member K.Laxman at a press conference in Delhi on Thursday.
“ Our party has allotted over 40 percent tickets to BCs and women to contest in the upcoming assembly polls in the state,” he claimed.
On October 27 at a Jana Garjana Sabha in Suryapet, Union Home Minister Amit Shah declared that a leader from the backward classes as the Chief Minister if it is elected to power in Telangana in the current Assembly election.
The ruling BRS is “anti-poor, anti-Dalit” and “anti-weaker sections” and along with the Congress Party, it was only interested in perpetuating dynastic rule. “Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s BRS and Sonia Gandhi’s Congress party are keen on making K.T. Rama Rao as Chief Minister and Rahul Gandhi as Prime Minister, respectively but not for the development or welfare of Telangana,” Amit Shah charged.
Polling to the 119 seats of Telangana assembly will be held on…
