Vijayawada, Oct 5: Responding to speculation that he has quit the NDA, Jana Sena chief and film here cum politician K Pawan Kalyan said that he would disclose if he pulled out of the NDA.

Addressing a massive public meeting in Mudinepalli on Thursday as part of his Varahi Vijaya Yatra, Pawan Kalyan said that he would announce if pulled out of the NDA. “I know Narendra Modi, JP Nadda and other BJP leaders. What..If I am in the NDA or quit”, he questioned.

He said that it is not necessary to the YSRCP leaders whether he is in the NDA or quit the NDA. “The YSRCP has launched a campaign that Pawan Kalyan has quit the NDA which is indicating their fears on the JSP-TDP alliance,” he criticized.

Pawan Kalyan vowed to make Andhra Pradesh as ‘YSRCP-free state’. “You (YSRCP) are scared of the JSP-TDP alliance and that indicates that you have become weak. The JSP tasted a debacle in the 2019 elections but still I am fighting against the YSRCP. I received several threatening messages but was not afraid,” he observed.

Exuding confidence of the JSP-TDP alliance coming to power in the ensuing elections, Pawan Kalyan assured of resolving the problems of aqua farmers and restoring old liquor policy.

He said that he did not want to make a hollow promise on complete prohibition but would take steps to ban the liquor sale wherever the women demand. He also assured the people living in the Kolleru lake area of resolving the drinking water crisis within six month of coming to power. He called upon the TDP and JSP cadres to work together, forgetting the differences if they have any.
