Srinagar, Dec 9 – National Conference (NC) Vice President Omar Abdullah on Friday visited the residence of slain J&K Police Inspector Masroor Ahmad Wani to offer condolences and support.
Inspector Wani, died at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi on Thursday, over a month after he was shot in Srinagar’s Eidgah ground while playing cricket. The body of the police inspector was flown home on Friday. After a wreath laying ceremony in Srinagar, he was buried.
“JKNC VP Omar Abdullah pays respects at Inspector Masroor Ahmad Wani’s home in Narwara, Srinagar. He shared a poignant moment with the family, offering heartfelt condolences and support,” the NC said in a post on X.
